A update from Carl:
Firstly let me apologise on behalf of the band for the lack of news/info this year. I can totally relate to your frustrations (we've had enough of those ourselves of late) and really want to emphasise that we're really not taking your commitment to the band with any disregard... we are not. But i fully understand that some of you may feel a little disapointed if not ignored.
Last year amazed us all... the whole 'lets do a low key gig, post something out on the net and see what happens' thing. The response was beyond any of our expectations. Hence the year unfolded, plans were put in place for 2007 and come the start of this year we had some major set backs.
Firstly Che had a nasty fall, breaking his neck in the process. Thankfully he's back to full health and uneffected by, quite frankly, an accident that could have killed him or left him seriously incapacitated.
Within a week of Che's accident, Jaime was admitted to hospital, suffering from a blood disorder. He was extremely un-well and has since undergone open-heart surgery to repair a damaged valve. He is making a slow and steady recovery, and is expected to be fully fit later this year.
No announcments were made to Jaime's condition at the time. We felt it wise to reduce the amount of stress put upon him, self inflicted or otherwise and get him through the op and on the road to recovery as soon as possible. Which, thankfully now, he is.
Otherwise, there has been no other news. Jack and Phil have been keeping busy on other projects, though nothing worthy of posting at this point in time.
Everyone in the Marion camp want to get the ball rolling as soon as possible. Hopefully a couple of gigs before Christmas, recovery pending!
In the mean time, we really appreciate your support and patience."

Marion on the radio shocker!
Yup, the very fine, upstanding gentleman that is Steve Lamacq played 'Violent Men' on his 6music show yesterday afternoon, before asking if they were back together. Thanks to Tom who not only drew our attention to this fine event, but texted Mr Lamacq to let him know that they are!
The show is available via the 'Listen Again' function on his 6music site, and will remain there until next Wednesday. Turns up about 4 songs from the end.
